Our story
The last roast potato
We met in 2020 when Maya arrived late to a friend's birthday dinner and was given the only remaining seat, directly opposite Ben.
Ben offered her the last roast potato. Maya says that was the moment she knew he was worth keeping.
Seven years later, our life includes a little house in Winchester, a rescue spaniel called Pippin and a shared inability to pack lightly for any trip.
Ben proposed during a rainy weekend in Cornwall. The carefully planned clifftop picnic became a proposal inside the car with the windscreen wipers going at full speed. It was completely imperfect and completely us.
